Today I am 6 weeks, and 5 days pregnant!! We went in for another ultrasound this morning and we had the privelage of seeing a very HEALTHY heartbeat on our teeny little baby! We've got a strong little sucker, with a heart rate of 182 bpm ;)
Everything is looking great and we are so excited! After such a long process, it is really difficult to not over-analyze every symptom I have, or lack of symptoms for that matter. I think anyone who deals with infertility also struggles throughout the pregnancy because we are terrified of the unknown and we just want to make sure everything is perfect. I have not had many symptoms yet, except for the occassional nausea and overall "sleepiness". I'm starting to feel the sickies a little more frequently though, so I'm afraid the morning sickness might be right around the corner for me...but I won't be complaining about that! Maybe.
Right now we are spoiled because we get to have an ultrasound every week! Our next one will be next Tuesday and we'll be counting down the days until we get to see our little nugget again. At 12 weeks I will graduate to my regular OB and we will not have the luxury of weekly appointments anymore. For now, we are enjoying EVERY MINUTE of this process!
